#1. Weekend Recap

01/30/16 - 01/31/16
This past weekend was something I want to do more every so often, but haven't really had the chance to.  Lily and I went to the theatre to see "The Boy" and "Dirty Grandpa".  "The Boy" was a great movie overall, with a couple of pop-ups here and there; however, near the end was a HUGE plot twist and one I never expected (a real brain basher if you will).  "Dirty Grandpa" was essentially a film, in my opinion, that was aimed towards more of a teenager audience.  Don't get me wrong, it was a funny movie, but not the majority of people's today humor.  I was really trying to put to use my $25 "Harkin's Loyalty" shirt that promises a medium bag of popcorn every visit.  Afterwards, we decided to give Raising Cane's visit, home of the delicious, well battered chicken fingers.  Raising Cane's is great because the food is amazing and it's open considerably late.

The next morning, we busted a mission down to Scottsdale Fashion Square.  If you haven't been here, do yourself a favor and take a day to explore the mall, even though I highly doubt you'd make it through the whole mall.  This mall consist of over 250+ stores and restaurants.  We visited the Microsoft store, one of two in Arizona (the other being in Chandler) and it's set up like how an Apple store is set, with multiple gadgets being scattered all over.  Upon visiting Microsoft, we browsed around a few other stores and came across Tesla.  Tesla is a American company that specialized in luxurious electric cars.  I got the chance to sit in a P90D model and it was honestly a dream come true...  The car's vibrant colors and it's beautiful interior made me drool.

Visiting this mall, I had no idea there was a "Pepper Palace".  "Pepper Palace" is a place where they sell top of the line hot sauce and pepper.  I got the chance to try 2 of the top 5 hottest sauces simultaneously and word of advice, DO NOT DRINK SODA.  I felt as if I was breathing fire, the soda did not help it as it made me burp and with each burp came a tear and a mouth full of regrets.
