#2 Shenanigans

So a couple of days ago, some friends and I went to go suit up homeless people.  He was giving away suits one day via "Twitter" and my cousin needed one because he was job hunting for the past month or so.  We went to his house and none of the suits fit my cousin (he's 5'5 and the suits were fit for like a 6 footer).  I jokingly said "YOOO, let's go suit up some homeless" and he responded "YOU AIN'T DOWN FOO"!  Undoubtedly, we packed up all the suits in my trunk and headed towards what we call "ghetto" (Downtown, Phoenix).  We found our first culprit at first sight, entering the neighborhood.  As he was munching away on some chips, I approached him asking him "Would you like some clothing man?" and immediately he followed up with a "Anything helps..."  He tailed us to my car and we got him a fitted "DKNY" blazer jacket and $10.  He left dancing and what not and through out the rest of the night we couldn't find any other homeless people that was actually "walking the streets".  So we decided to grab some food.  We ended up having some authentic Sonoran hotdogs near 19th ave and Northern.  If you haven't had a Sonoran hotdog, you're MISSING OUT on life...

The next day, a couple of other friends, Lily and me went to "Tempe Town Lake".  We walk around the entire park/lake and were just taking pictures and messing around.  Tempe's lake bridge is beautiful at night and the blue arcs really stand out when driving near Mill ave.  Some back story on the bridge: built August 8th, 1997, the lake holds 977 million gallons of water and the "Pedestrian Bridge" was recently built in 2011.  We also walked around Downtown, Tempe and it was really something, on a Friday night.  People roaming the streets, drunk ASU students yelling and pan-handlers begging for money.  There is this one candy store near there that sells really old and discontinued candy but well overpriced.  If you're interested for the candy store it's called "Candy Addict" and is located at 414 S Mill Ave #119 Tempe, AZ 85281.  Other than roaming around the city, we headed back to good ole' Denny's and called it a night.

  1. Kenny--You are writing, which is great. And you are lively, which is great too. However, you have not done the assignments in a few ways: 1) You did not do the prompt from the assigned entry (entry #1); 2) you have very personal entries and this is NOT a personal blog--it is a casual/professional blog; 3) you did not do the practice entry.

Edit more carefully, dig deeper into content, and move away from personal entries.
